This photo was taken by Vickie Slaton from her front yard on FM 21 looking north toward Burger King, where trees were reportedly damaged. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Shreveport confirmed a tornado touched down in Franklin County around 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. Damage from the event was minimal, according to reports.
