Members of the Mount Vernon, Hagansport, Purley, and South Franklin volunteer fire departments participated in a training exercise on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The groups staged a simulation truck vs. train wreck on CR 1011 just west of the sheriff’s office. The exercise was conducted to provide an opportunity for their members to obtain hands-on experience with life saving equipment.
