Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Southern Heritage reenactment group is to perform at the Thurston House, just west of Mount Vernon. The group will be on site from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. The group will provide a peek into the day to day lives of our ancestors. There is no charge to attend.
