The Mount Vernon City Council is expected to review and make changes to the current construction inspection fee schedule at their Tuesday, Jan. 11 meeting. It was the consensus of the council at their Dec. 28 workshop that certain on-view confirmation type inspections could be done in-house and reduce the cost to property owners.
