A record high and a record low temperature were set in January in Franklin County. On Jan. 10, 5.1 inches of snow fell in the county.
The record low temperature was set on Thursday, Jan. 13 with a temperature of 13°. The temperature was colder than the 18° reported on the same day in 1985. The record high temperature of 75° on Saturday, Jan. 29 was higher than the 71° reported on the same date in 2002.
