The process of registering as a candidate for election to the Franklin County Water District Board of Directors, Mount Vernon City Council and the MVISD Board of Trustees continues this week. Election day is May 14. Candidates have until Monday, March 14 to file for a place on the ballot in any of the three elections. Registration packets are available at City Hall, at the school’s administrative offices, and at the FCWD offices in downtown Mount Vernon.
