The Carson and Barnes Circus will be in Mount Vernon Monday, March 21. Advance tickets sold will help fund continued work on the Franklin County Sports Complex. “The sports complex project will get 40 percent of the cost of an adult and 25 percent of the cost of the children’s advance sale tickets,” emphasized Pct. 1 Commissioner Danny Chitsey. “That amount drops to 10 percent for tickets sold at the gates.” See the March 17 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald, for more information.
