Approximately $8,000 was recently spent upgrading the front gate into the Pine Valley development.
Located on Lake Cypress Springs the development is made up of 1,029 lots and approximately five miles of roads in the 26 year-old development. Other actions taken by the Pine Valley Property Owners’ Association has divided members of that community. Some property owners think the board is taking correct actions, while others feel their property is being compromised. The PV-POA board members have foreclosed on lots that were in arrears on their dues, charged a special assessment, and raised their dues during the past year, which some residents are having difficulty paying. See the April 7 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for the rest of the story.
