Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Franklin County has added an Arraignment Court day to help process cases in a more expedient fashion. The fourth Tuesday of each month has been set aside as an additional court day to deal exclusively with arraignment (first time) settings. This extra date helps to shorten the amount of time between an arrest and a court appearance, resulting in a more efficient process.
