Franklin County Judge Paul Lovier has relinquished the chairman duties for the Northeast Texas Rural Rail Transportation District. The change was announced at the meeting of the district’s board of directors earlier this month. Cletis Milsap of Hopkins County, a member of the district’s board, was elected to replace Judge Lovier as chairman. For more information, see the April 14 edition of the Optic-Herald.
