Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Mount Vernon Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Maintenance office will begin an alternative work schedule of four 10-hour days. The new work schedule will begin Monday, March 9. In an effort to improve efficiency and streamline operations, the TxDOT Paris District will implement a compressed work schedule consisting of four 10 hour days for all county sections.   For more details, see the March 5 edition of the Optic-Herald.
