A request for an open hearing on the dismissal of former city public works director Andy Trampus was tabled by the Mount Vernon City Council last Tuesday, July 12. The request was not listed on the posted agenda for the meeting. After an executive session, a motion that was that the discussion to be tabled pending legal advice.
