Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The City of Mount Vernon’s Economic Development Corporation will meet to set its 2011-12 budget and elect a new president today, Thursday, July 21. The meeting will be in the City Hall at noon. The council’s member on the board will not be present. Councilman Jeff Briscoe sent an e-mail Tuesday to city staff, other council members, and the Optic-Herald declining the appointment.  For more information about the EDC board, see the July 21 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
