Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Franklin County Appraisal District released the certified tax rolls to local taxing entities this week.
Both the Franklin County Commissioners Court and Mount Vernon ISD scheduled budget workshops to begin crunching numbers for their upcoming fiscal years.
The appraised values for properties in the county were set at $1,064,979,890. The number is down 1.2 percent from 2010. For more details, see the July 28  edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
