Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Andy Trampus, former public works director for the City of Mount Vernon, filed a civil suit Wednesday, July 27 against the city, city secretary Tina Rose, and mayor pro tem Saundra Dunn. In the suit’s original petition, Mr. Trampus claims that he was wrongfully discharged and subsequently stigmatized by those named in the suit. Mr. Trampus brings four claims, including two claims under the Civil Rights Act, a claim alleging violation of the Texas Open Meetings Act, and a claim of breach of contract.
