A diverse economy, growing work force and friendly business climate attract more businesses to the Lone Star state every day. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs’ office regularly presents free taxpayer seminars throughout the state to help new and existing business owners understand their state tax responsibilities. The two closest of these seminars will be Tuesday, Aug. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Tyler at the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Genecov Room at 315 North Broadway Ave. and Thursday, Aug. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Mesquite at their main library located at 300 WEst Grubb Drive.
