Members of the Purley Volunteer Fire Department work with their brush truck to extinguish the grass fire on CR SW3170 Thursday, Sept. 8.
Approximately eight acres, most of which was in three year old pine trees, were burned. No structures were lost thanks to the efforts of local fire departments.
