The Mount Vernon’s City Council discussion of the city administrator’s salary led to a loud and brisk redress of the past administrator’s compensation package at last week’s Mount Vernon City Council Workshop. The council reviewed the $55,000 salary approved for hiring Eddie Turner. and the severance package given to former city administrator Lee Elliott.
