The deadline to file to have a name on the ballot as a candidate to the Cypress Springs Special Utility District’s (SUD) board of directors is Monday, Nov. 28. The period for filing was shortened by 10 days due to changes in the state election laws, according to Janet Stanley, designated election’s clerk for the SUD.
