Closing arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court were taking place as this story went to press Tuesday, Jan. 31. Those arguments and the seemingly stalled talks over redrawing district maps between Texas’ Democratic and Republican  parties and other opposition groups are putting the April 3 General Primary Election date in question.
