Steve Austin, the County Veteran Service Officer, CVSO, for Franklin and Titus counties, is asking for assistance with a “Special Project” a Ceremonial Flags Adoption and Sponsorship Program.
The program, which began in 2009, provides ceremonial flags to be displayed by the CVS Officer during activities and events. These events honor our veterans and active duty personnel and/or dates set aside for that purpose. For more information, see the February 9 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
