The City of Mount Vernon and Franklin County Commissioners are helping residents to clean up their property during the county-wide clean-up effort April 4 -11.
The City of Mount Vernon is taking a different approach to the clean-up with a one -day curb-side pick-up of large items on Saturday, April 4 only. Large items must be placed by the curb-side for pick up this  Saturday. There will not be any dumpsters at the city maintenance facility.
Commissioners Deryl Carr, Sam Young, and Danny Chitsey will accept brush and wood products for disposal at their precinct barns.
