For the second year in a row, Cinderella’s Closet will be open at Mount Vernon High School for girls to receive prom dresses at no cost to their families. The event will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 in the high school sewing lab. Recycled prom dresses will be displayed for girls to try on and they may chose one dress for prom at no cost. Last year, more than 20 girls from Mount Vernon High School took advantage of the program. For more information parents or students should contact Cynthia Linseisen at the high school at 903-537-3700.
