Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

For the sixth year, Mount Vernon ISD is offering summer school and summer meals during the month of June. Breakfast and lunch will be served to any student age 18 and under June 8 through June 29 in the Mount Vernon School Cafeteria. Breakfast is served beginning at 7:30 a.m.to 9 a.m., and lunch is served at 11 a.m. to noon. Meals are provided by local sponsors and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
