The Mount Vernon Mighty Tiger Marching Band will begin gearing up for the upcoming season with meetings and rehearsals starting Friday, July 31. The drum majors and squad leaders need to meet at 9 a.m. Friday, July 31. Band members will have uniform fittings on Monday, Aug. 3. Freshman marching camp will be on Tuesday, Aug. 4  and Wednesday, Aug. 5.  A full band rehearsal is set for Thursday, Aug. 6. See the July 30 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
