The search for a superintendent for Mount Vernon ISD is underway and input from community members on the desired characteristics is needed. Three meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, August 18 to involve community members in helping to determine the qualifications and characteristics the new chief executive officer will need.See the Aug. 6 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
