Mason Lowery and members of the Mount Vernon Elementary third grade class dressed as Pilgrims and Indians on Monday, Nov. 24 in an effort to reinact a Thanksgiving Feast between the two groups. Each year members of the community visit and eat with the class for the event. Table manners and courtesy at the table are taught to the children as a part of the lunch. The event was conducted at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
