Mount Vernon Junior High has had six seventh grade students qualify for participation in the 30th annual Talent Search of the Southern and Midwestern United States.
Students qualifying from Mount Vernon are as follows: Roger Edge, Katelyn Halter, McKenna Medders, Jessica Minter, Grayson Pennington, and Jesse Shirley.
