Mount Vernon High School assistant principal Craig Watson visits with junior Austin Arnett and his mother, Cindy, at the annual open house on Monday, Sept. 28 at the high school. More than 100 people attended the event at the high school. The junior high campus reported 75  individuals for their open house. The event is conducted each year to give parents a chance to meet their children’s teachers and observe what they are learning at school.
