John Kaufman, the new Mount Vernon school superintendent, visits with Shelby, Jami, Austin, Cindy, and Greg Reed during his welcome reception in the high school library on Friday, Dec. 11.
Brookshire’s, the Sweete Shoppe, and Cindy Arnett each provided a cake and Lake Country Coffee provided the coffee for the event. More than 150 people attended to officially welcome Mr. Kaufman to the district.
