Kim King with the Texas Department of State Health and Services administered a H1N1 nasal vaccine to Amber Oxford, a first grade student at Mount Vernon Elementary School. The health department gave 288 vaccines at the school on Friday, Feb. 5 at the H1N1 Clinic. The local clinic was one of many clinics that have been conducted in recent months to raise awareness of the H1N1 virus.
