Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The new poles for the lights to be used on the Mount Vernon ISD baseball and softball fields have been delivered and are waiting to be installed. Members of the Mount Vernon school board approved the purchase and installation of lights for the fields to be completed by Tech Line from Paris for a total cost of $165,800. The new poles should be erected prior to the beginning of the spring sports which start in mid-February.
