Advancement ceremonies for the Mount Vernon Junior High eighth grade students will be at noon tomorrow, Friday, May 28 in the high school gym, followed by an early release at 1:30 p.m. Alexa Marquardt and Jessica Velazquez were selected as the valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.
