During the open forum time of the regular September meeting of the Mount Vernon Board of Trustees, two parents implored board members to reconsider the pick up and drop off procedures at the new elementary school. Both Amanda Massey and Stacey Wardrup appealed to the board to allow parents to be able to park their cars and walk their children to and from the school building.
