Five local students received degrees from Northeast Texas Community College in Mount Pleasant during commencement ceremonies in December 2008.
Sarah Willis of Mount Vernon received her certificate of competency as an EMS Paramedic.
Jennifer Anderson of Mount Vernon received her associaties of arts degree. David Newsome of Mount Vernon, Ashley Penny of Mount Vernon, and Heidi Clover of Saltillo each received an associates of science degree.
