The Mount Vernon ISD graduating classes of 1954 and 1955 held a joint reunion Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Sweete Shoppe in Mount Vernon. During the visiting and picture-taking, an article from a May 1955 Optic-Herald, “What Seniors Say About Annual Trip”, was read aloud.
