Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Deanna Tunnell of Mount Vernon received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. She was hooded in a ceremony on Dec. 11 at HSU along with 24 others from her class. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2002 and received her bachelor’s degree in biology from East Texas Baptist University in 2006 where she graduated cum laude.
