Amanda Clay graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in history and English from the Texas A&M University - Commerce College of Arts and Sciences on Saturday, Dec. 18.
She graduated with a 3.87 grade point average and was a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society. She is currently enrolled in the masters of art in history program at Texas A&M University - Commerce. She is a 2007 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and is the daughter of Garry and Patricia Clay of Mount Vernon.
