On Tuesday, Feb. 1, Jim Taylor accepted the position as Athletic Director for the Mount Vernon Independent School District. He declined the position on Thursday, Feb. 3
"We will offer the position to our number two candidate and see if he accepts," Superintendent John Kaufman said. Whoever accepts the spot will have to be confirmed by the Board of Trustees at their meeting set for Monday, Feb. 14.
