Kendra Jock works to send a Morse Code message to John Hefner’s science class as history teacher Laura Hallonquist watches from behind. The science and history classes studied communication and its impact on the lives of the people during the early times of battle. Mr. Hefner built a working telegraph to use with the project at the Mount Vernon junior high school.
