The annual Cheer Camp at Mount Vernon ISD is set for Saturday, Oct. 1. The event will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the high school gym. The deadline for students to sign-up for the annual camp is Friday, Sept. 23. For more information, see the Sept. 15 edition of the Optic-Herald.
