Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Mount Vernon third grade students hold their new dictionaries high after receiving them from the Mount Vernon Rotary Club. Rotarians Dr. Jeff Mannis, Nathan Reves, Pat Wright, Diana Duckworth, High school Interact officers Asja Gadlin and Areli Gonzales, and Rotarians Sandy Sariego, Joel Jackson and Ann Holland were on hand to pass out the books. Each student got an English dictionary and a Spanish-English dictionary. The books were purchased with money made with Tour de Cypress.
