Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A group of 22 local residents and junior high students went on a four day trip to Washington, D.C. during spring break, March 9-12. This is the third annual trip by MVDC, a group sponsored by Mount Vernon ISD junior high teacher Ceca Patrick.   Individuals participating this year as shown in the accompanying photo were as follows: front row, left to right, Kristi Foster, Adam Messimer, Bailey Bohlken, C.J.
