Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Students at Mount Vernon High School took part in a blood drive on Friday, Feb. 10 at the school. Sixty-eight students volunteered to donate blood through Carter Blood Care. The drive produced 54 pints of blood. Eight students gave plasma at the event for a total of 16 pints of plasma. This is the second blood drive sponsored this year at the school through the Student Council.
