The competitors in the third annual Turtle Derby races did not seem fazed by the high heat and humidity on Saturday, July 11. Drake Caswell’s turtle was declared the winner. Ayla Burton finished second. Kara Hollingsworth and Tyler Duenkel finished third and fourth respectively. See the July 16 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
