Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Members of the Mount Vernon Lady Tigers basketball team have organized a fund-raising event to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Bryan, Tex., for a tournament. Brisket, ribs, and sausage-on-a-stick will be offered. Sandwiches and plate lunches will also be available. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend the event to support the local ladies as they prepare to travel to the tournament. Donations will be accepted.
