Opening ceremonies for the 2010 Franklin County Youth Baseball Softball Association season are set for 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 9 at Lindley Field. Coaches and members of their teams should arrive 30 minutes early to place themselves on the field.
During the ceremonies, the all-star teams from last year will be recognized and the board of directors and commissioners for this year will be introduced. Lee Hyman will throw the first pitch of the season and games will begin at 6 p.m. See the April 8 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
