Lee Hyman threw the first pitch of the season for Franklin County Youth Baseball/Softball Association at opening ceremonies on Friday, April 9 at Lindley Field. More than 500 children signed up to play ball for the 2010 season. Last year’s sweetee, darling, and ponytail all star teams were recognized at the event, and the board of directors and commissioners for the year were introduced.
