The Saltillo Lady Lions golf team finished ninth at the regional golf tournament in Nacogdoches in April. The team qualified for region after finishing as District Champions at the district tournament in New Boston.
Candace Prather finished first individual at district followed by Cassie Prather as second high individual. Other members of the team are Alexsa Burkett and Shayna Floyd. For more information, see the May 20 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
