The Franklin County Sweetees All-Star team won the Dixie Youth State Tournament at Chapel Hill - Tyler July 8-10.
The team went undefeated in five games at the event. This year is the first year Dixie Youth has sponsored a state tournament for the sweetees league. For more information, see the July 14 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
